Just wondering if anyone knows whether B (KCA) registered dogs can compete in herding trials in QLD, or do they have to be A registered?

I may be wrong but I do believe when I first put the option of Koolies on the Sporting registrar, to the Quensland canine committee, there was a suggestion of only accepting A registered.

There was still a lot on the table to discuss and sort out, lots of issues, at the time the committee were trying to just have the Sporting register access herding and nothing more.

So we were kind of focused on getting them to coming in line with Nsw and Vic

Neither of these states demmand this so maybe you have only heard what was only the table not what really eventuated.

Then again Qld has a rep for doing its own thing, so I wouldn't be suprised if they let that one slip by in the confusion and have adopted it.

Have you checked with the CEO who headed up the project when it was first adopted.
I had a lot of trouble to begin with, with workers who didn't know a thing about the Sporting registrar in Nsw and Vic, knocking back applicants accepting the wrong ones.

This might just be another case of lack of communication.

No, I haven't talked to them about it as yet. Just wanted to know what the club thought was the policy, as my experience of them is similar to yours, the right hand not knowing what the left one said was 'policy'.

I would suggest submit it and see what sort of result you get, if they have an issue they will soon let you know.
