Last Friday morning at 4am Dot at the age of ten lost her battle with pancreatitis, her passing was painless, quick and quiet.
She just looked into Rons eyes and slipped away.

Surrounded by her children, grand children and great grand children it is so hard to believe she has gone, her presence has never been stonger.

Snowview, Sheringa, JackieH and Ceejay all have Koolies from her line, she is now a ledgend and many of us are thankfull for her blessings.

We miss her but she will always be with us.

I am so sorry for your loss TJ. Your home will probably seem emptier without her. I hope that my dogs will pass in my arms in my home environment surrounded by the things that meant the most to them, just like Dot. Here is a hug from myself and Ceejay. group.gif

Well done, every one that passes of natural causes, particularly after a hard start in life, is a success story! May all koolies be so lucky.

Oh so sad to hear it TJ, I'm sure she will be missed dearly & glad it ended peacefeully.

We recently lost our foundation male husky & 7 generations on you still see him in there which is both sad & happy at the same time.

RIP Dot.

Thanks everyone, it's kind of weird to be on the receiving end, but lessens the loss when you have friends to share it with.

Sorry for your loss as well Mushoz, I know how you feel about those big boofs.

Sorry for your loss Mushoz. That must be a strange feeling seeing him in your other dogs. Do you think it makes it easier to deal with? I imagine it could keep the grief a bit more fresh because you keep having to deal with it.
